Yvonne Hove
Founder & Owner
The year was 1989. After realizing the joy of spending time with her own lovely daughter, Yvonne Hove took the necessary steps to own and operate her own school. Yvonne received her A.A. in Liberal Arts from College of Marin. She then completed the requisite Early Childhood Education units at San Francisco State University. In 2009, Yvonne received her Supervisor Permit from the City College of San Francisco. From the inception of Ladybug Childcare & Preschool, Yvonne has played an increasingly involved role in creating rich and varied emergent curriculum for all curious ladybugs. She is a member of the SF Daycare Association, NAEYC, North American Reggio Emilia Alliance, and comfortably entrenched in the neighborhood and community as a whole. These days, during her precious moments of free time, Yvonne can often be found in Calistoga enjoying her garden and walks in the country.

Christine
Teacher
Hi, my name is Christine. I have been an educator in the early child education field for 28 years. I have lived in San Francisco since 1976. I enjoy being with young children because of their honesty and curiosity. My pastime is crafting, knitting and taking long drives.
Christine recently rejoined Ladybug. The Ladybug family is so grateful and honored to have her on our team again!
Brooke
Teacher
Hello! I’m Brooke. I’m an early childhood development and education major. Most recently I have completed a class called teaching in a diverse society. This class explored all the steps to become an anti-biased educator.
I come from a small town but a large family, where I have learned to be comfortable within chaos. I thrive off the pure and bright energy of young minds. Before coming to the city, I worked as a substitute teacher. And In the summer I’d work as a summer camp leader where we let our creativity flourish with dancing, singing and acting. And with my down time I love to read and run!
